Sailing is good when the wind is good. The journey is the destination. The wind will guide you on your wonderful sailing trip on the popular Danish Baltic Sea.
An enchanting mix of endless sandy beaches, glittering white chalk cliffs, countless islands and small harbours with colourful houses is what the Danish Baltic Sea region has to offer. You can explore this wonderful world with our beautiful sailing yacht Atlantis. A great combination to get a complete picture of this relatively unknown part of Europe.
The Baltic Sea enchants its visitors with fascinating natural spectacles and romantic sunsets. Excursion destinations in the area are varied, so everyone will find something to suit their taste. From sandy beaches and cliffs to islands and bays and picturesque harbours, the Baltic Sea has a lot to offer. Denmark’s small islands often show the whole country in miniature: stunning nature, beautiful beaches and pure relaxation.
On board the sailing ship, every day begins a new adventure for you. The captain receives the latest wind report and plans a route that allows you to experience a great sailing trip. After a delicious breakfast, the sails are hoisted and, in the afternoon, the ship heads for one of the beautiful harbours of the Baltic Sea.
Possible ports are: Sønderborg, Svendborg, Marstal (Ærø) Lyø and Faaborg. Note: Wind and weather conditions can significantly affect the journey.
Svendborg is an old harbour town on the south coast of Funen. Many fields, uninhabited islands, fishing villages and large old castles. The island of Funen is known as the “garden of Denmark”. In the harbour of Svendborg there is still a comings and goings of small and large fishing boats. The centre is more than 750 years old and is definitely worth a visit.
Once in the harbour, you can explore the town and then return on board for dinner in the evening. Afterwards, you can have a drink with your fellow sailors in our cosy lounge or on deck, or take a shore excursion on your own.
