Ålesund – Begin in this elegant island town, famed for its Art Nouveau architecture and panoramic views from Mount Aksla. A vibrant gateway to the fjords, it blends history, harbour life, and local cuisine.

Trondheim – Norway’s former capital and a city steeped in Viking history. Explore the impressive Nidaros Cathedral, stroll along the colourful wharfs, and enjoy the city’s thriving food and cultural scene.

Kristiansund – Spread across four islands, this lively coastal town is known for its striking seafront and salt cod heritage, known in Portugal as Bacalhau. Visit harbour side cafés, explore local museums, and immerse yourself in the maritime past.

Return to Ålesund – Your journey ends where it began, with a newfound connection to Norway’s wild coast — a voyage of clear air, glimmering waters, local flavors, and centuries-old seafaring spirit.

From puffins and seals to fresh seafood and folk traditions, this is a voyage where every harbour tells a story and every horizon brings new beauty.

Weather:

In May, the northern fjords enjoy mild spring weather with average temperatures between 7°C and 13°C (45°F to 55°F). Days are long and bright, with up to 17 hours of daylight, and the air is crisp and clear. While occasional showers are common, there are also plenty of fresh, sunny days.
