Our voyage starts in the Catalonia’s vibrant city of Barcelona, rich in maritime history with a tradition of shipbuilding dating back to the Roman era. The city’s connection to the sea is deeply ingrained in its culture.
Before you embark, visit the Gothic Quarter, explore the historic heart of Barcelona with its narrow medieval streets, charming squares, relax on the city beaches and soak in the Mediterranean spring sunshine.
As we set sail from Barcelona, volunteer to help the crew hoist and set the sails. The feeling of helming a 68m sailing ship with the sensation as she responds to the command of the wheel is something to savor forever. There´s nothing our crew like more then to share their knowledge of sailing with our guests, and they will encourage you to get actively involved in sailing the ship.
Knot classes are a great way to learn a new skill whilst sharing sailing stories with shipmates, and if the weather allows there’s the opportunity to go up the mast or relax on the bowsprit. A drink at sunset on the deck is the perfect way to round off each day.
The Mediterranean Sea in this area is known for its crystal-clear waters, teeming with marine life.
Menorca soon appears over the horizon. We anchor in the stunning bay of Mahon, Menorca’s capital which historically was a vital naval base for the Romans, Moors, British and the Spanish.
The tranquil bay of offers some welcome respite from the elements after a few days under sail.
There’s plenty of time to explore picturesque streets, lined with pastel-colored houses, and savor Mediterranean cuisine in charming restaurants along the seafront. The ships kayaks are at hand for those with exercise in mind or in need of a cooling dip after the island adventures.
Again, we set sail into the Mediterranean for another day under sail before we arrive at our final destination, Palma de Mallorca, once ruled by the Moors, who left a lasting influence on the city’s architecture and culture. Share stories or your voyage with fellow shipmates during our celebratory deck BBQ party.
Once you disembark in Palma visit the stunning Gothic cathedral, La Seu, with its intricate architecture and breathtaking view or discover the circular castle, Bellver Castle, offering panoramic vistas of the city and the sea.

Santa María Manuela
The Santa Maria Manuela was launched on 10 May 1937 in Lisbon. It is a 67-metre sailing ship. The ship was named after the owner’s wife, Maria Manuela, mother of 16 children. The main function of the Santa Maria Manuela was cod fishing. The Santa Maria Manuela underwent a number of structural changes over the years, from the removal of the masts to the installation of a navigation bridge. In 1993 the ship was considered obsolete, was dismantled and only the steel hull remained. The following year the Santa María Manuela Foundation was created, a project that united 17 institutions under the same purpose: to recover the ship. The SMM now has unique conditions for sea voyages, events, parties and training at sea. Predominant colour WHITE.
