Delfzijl (NL) – Setubal (PT)
BOARDING DAY 03/09 AT 20:00H
DISEMBARKATION DAY 14/09 FROM 10:00
Get on board the pailebote Pascual Flores and feel the experience of traveling in the restoration of the ship built in 1917. Be part of the crew, using the same sailing techniques, with training on navigation, charts, sail usage, knots, etc. And, above all, feel the sensation of sailing a wooden boat, steered by a pintle.
On the horizon, an unparalleled adventure awaits aboard the majestic Pascual Flores, a vessel that will challenge the waters from Delfzijl to Setubal. This journey promises to be a sensory delight, where the wind carries whispers of ancient maritime tales.
From the picturesque port of Delfzijl, the Pascual Flores will set sail on an extraordinary voyage. The Dutch coast will witness a magnificent journey, with its charming villages and majestic lighthouses guiding the way. Crossing the iconic English Channel, the waves will caress the ship’s hull as it skirts the Bordeaux region, famous for its exquisite wines.
The course will be set towards the waters of northern Spain, a passage that will test even the most seasoned sailors. Weather conditions in the North Spanish Sea and the Portuguese coast can change rapidly, adding a touch of excitement to the journey. While the estimated duration of the voyage is about 11 days, dates could vary due to the whims of nature.
Finally, the longed-for destination will reveal itself in all its splendour: the captivating Portuguese city of Setubal. Here, travellers will have the perfect opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich local culture. The Castle of São Filipe, towering on its hill, offers panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. Furthermore, the Mercado do Livramento will seduce the senses with a display of flavours and aromas, while an excursion to the Tróia Peninsula will provide an escape to dreamy beaches.
