Embark the Galleon and live the experience of sailing in a replica of almost 50 meters long. A merchant ship of the time in which the spaces are larger and more comfortable. In this voyage you will be part of the crew, using the same sailing techniques, with training on navigation, charts, use of sails, knots, and navigation guards, etc..

Departing from the port of La Rochelle and arriving at the port of Rochefort, this crossing lasts approximately 4 hours, corresponding to 30 nautical miles. It will allow you to make an unforgettable voyage on the Celtic Sea, until you reach the famous medieval city of Rochefort, the main point of trade between France, England and Spain, as well as America and Africa. You will be able to see the largest nautical port in Europe, from where many regattas start. Nor can you miss a visit to the famous towers and the old port, of medieval art. Get lost in its charming alleys in the heart of the city. An experience that will leave you stunned aboard the Galleon.

El Galeón

The Galeón Andalucía is a replica of the 16th century galleons that linked America, Europe and Asia. Launched in 2010, it has sailed from Spain to China, tours of the USA, Great Lakes, Canada, the Caribbean, Northern Europe, etc. It has 3 masts and bowsprit and 7 sails, 4 of them square and one lateen with a total sail area of 320m2. It can accommodate up to 42 people, usually 20 to 25 people with bunk beds.

Sailing on the sailing boats of the Nao Victoria Foundation is a magnificent human, technical and natural experience. You will take part in the sailing watches and experience the camaraderie of people of different ages, cultures and backgrounds, all as fond of the sea and boats as you are. You will learn navigation techniques, manoeuvring, knots and rigging, as well as getting to recognise the main stars and constellations. And all this in a natural environment as different, indomitable and incredibly beautiful as the sea.

A mini adventure full of humanity. My dream since I was a child, to see the sails swell in the wind, with the bow cutting waves up and down. Swallowing the sky, swallowing the sea. I am one of those who never stop, I do not miss even the smallest detail and Nao Victoria and you have filled me. All my nights different, always ecstatic. Captain, crew a 10, volunteers, I have no scale to name your dedication, your courtesy, your bizarreness. Historically well prepared, I now admire even more those heroes who preceded us.
