With us, you will be integrated into the crew immediately and will be able to lend a hand under the guidance of experienced crew members – regardless of your age or previous experience. The Wadden Sea of the North Sea is the largest in the world. It stretches from Denmark via Germany to the Netherlands over an area of 11,500 square kilometres. On this one-week trip, you can experience this world heritage site in a completely new way. We will introduce you to sailing on a tall ship and familiarise you with everyday life on board. After some enjoyable and instructive days, we will sail into the harbour of Cuxhaven. The exact route will be determined by the captain on board and may vary depending on wind and weather conditions.

Catering: Our galley crew will provide you with delicious meals from breakfast to dinner during the trip.

Alexander von Humboldt II

The ALEXANDER von HUMBOLDT II is a three-masted sailing ship operated as a civilian training vessel under the German flag. Her home port is Bremerhaven. The ALEX-2, as her regular crew affectionately call her, is used primarily to train skilled and interested people – particularly young people – on traditional tall ships. This is in line with the charitable aims of the German Sail Training Foundation (DSST), which runs the boat. Behind the green-hulled boat are many people of different ages who have voluntarily committed themselves to sailing the yacht and would like to encourage others to do the same.

Sailing on the sailing boats of the Nao Victoria Foundation is a magnificent human, technical and natural experience. You will take part in the sailing watches and experience the camaraderie of people of different ages, cultures and backgrounds, all as fond of the sea and boats as you are. You will learn navigation techniques, manoeuvring, knots and rigging, as well as getting to recognise the main stars and constellations. And all this in a natural environment as different, indomitable and incredibly beautiful as the sea.

A mini adventure full of humanity. My dream since I was a child, to see the sails swell in the wind, with the bow cutting waves up and down. Swallowing the sky, swallowing the sea. I am one of those who never stop, I do not miss even the smallest detail and Nao Victoria and you have filled me. All my nights different, always ecstatic. Captain, crew a 10, volunteers, I have no scale to name your dedication, your courtesy, your bizarreness. Historically well prepared, I now admire even more those heroes who preceded us.

The person who decides to make a voyage aboard the nao Victoria will find: a wooden ship that tries to recreate the feeling of being in one of those primitive ships that achieved such great feats, with a crew of people enthusiastic about sailing, the history of Spain very close, attentive and friendly, which will allow us to participate in all maneuvers and activities.
