Tenerife – La Gomera – La Palma – Tenerife
22 November (10h00) – 19 November (10h00)
This voyage takes us from the bustling and rugged island of Tenerife, to lush La Gomera and on to La Palma known as “La Isla Bonita”, before we return to Tenerife.
Our first two days will be spent at sea, learning the ropes of the Santa Maria Manuela, and finding our sea legs. There will be plenty of time to get involved in the sailing, from helming to trimming sails and from navigation to going aloft. When you are not involved in the sailing there’s plenty of time to fish, read, play board games or share sailing stories by the bar.
On the third day we anchor off the beautiful island of La Gomera and take time to explore the interior. Its palm-filled valleys, deep ravines, black sand beaches, crystal-clear waters and magical forests have helped La Gomera become known as the Canary Island’s hidden treasure island.
The World Biosphere Reserve and Starlight Reserve of La Palma soon calls after a short passage to the northernmost Canary Island. The island offers a wide scenic and climatic diversity. Rough, beautiful, surprising, spectacular are some of the adjectives which justify its nickname: “La Isla Bonita” (the Pretty Island). They say that this island has a special power, to regenerate, revitalize, fill you with energy, good vibes, good atmosphere, good mood.
On our penultimate day we set sail back towards Santa Cruz, Tenerife where we have our celebratory deck BBQ before disembarking the following morning.
NOTE: When planning flights please bear in mind that we are granted no flexibility from the customs authorities in relation to the embarkation and disembarkation times which are publicized on this website.

Santa María Manuela
The Santa Maria Manuela was launched on 10 May 1937 in Lisbon. It is a 67-metre sailing ship. The ship was named after the owner’s wife, Maria Manuela, mother of 16 children. The main function of the Santa Maria Manuela was cod fishing. The Santa Maria Manuela underwent a number of structural changes over the years, from the removal of the masts to the installation of a navigation bridge. In 1993 the ship was considered obsolete, was dismantled and only the steel hull remained. The following year the Santa María Manuela Foundation was created, a project that united 17 institutions under the same purpose: to recover the ship. The SMM now has unique conditions for sea voyages, events, parties and training at sea. Predominant colour WHITE.
