VOYAGE DESCRIPTION
Set sail from Tenerife for a four-night adventure through the Canary Islands, combining Atlantic sailing with time to discover two distinctly different island destinations.
Our first port of call is La Gomera, one of the smallest and most unspoiled islands in the archipelago. Disembark in San Sebastián and head inland to discover its dramatic ravines, lush valleys, and the ancient laurel forests of Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Back at sea, experience sailing aboard the Santa Maria Manuela as we head toward Gran Canaria. Take the helm, help hoist the sails, learn maneuvers alongside the crew, or simply enjoy life on deck while the Atlantic stretches out to the horizon.
The voyage concludes in Las Palmas, bringing together wild island landscapes, open-ocean sailing, and the unique experience of arriving in the Canaries aboard a historic four-masted schooner.
WEATHER
In early December, the Canary Islands enjoy pleasant spring-like sailing weather, with daytime temperatures ranging between 19°C and 23°C and mild nights between 15°C and 18°C. Sunny days with cloudy intervals and moderate trade winds will predominate, guaranteeing excellent conditions for inter-island navigation. Packing a windproof jacket and light warm clothing is recommended for night watches and time on deck.

Santa María Manuela
The Santa Maria Manuela was launched on 10 May 1937 in Lisbon. It is a 67-metre sailing ship. The ship was named after the owner’s wife, Maria Manuela, mother of 16 children. The main function of the Santa Maria Manuela was cod fishing. The Santa Maria Manuela underwent a number of structural changes over the years, from the removal of the masts to the installation of a navigation bridge. In 1993 the ship was considered obsolete, was dismantled and only the steel hull remained. The following year the Santa María Manuela Foundation was created, a project that united 17 institutions under the same purpose: to recover the ship. The SMM now has unique conditions for sea voyages, events, parties and training at sea. Predominant colour WHITE.
