Get on board the paileboat Pascual Flores and feel the experience of traveling in the restoration of the ship built in 1917. Be part of the crew, using the same sailing techniques, with training on navigation, charts, sail use, knots, etc. And, above all, feel the sensation of sailing a wooden boat, governed by a pintle.

This route through the Canary Islands has a duration of 4 days. We will depart from the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and arrive at the same port. On this route we will pass through Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria. Approximately 350 nautical miles will be done. This voyage is perfect for those people who are interested in making a short crossing but want to live the experience of sailing on an authentic 1917 pailebote.

Pascual Flores

The Pailebote “Pascual Flores” is an original vessel and different from the vessels that sail our waters today. During the first years of its life, the Pailebote was dedicated to the export of fruits, salt and general cargo, both in Mediterranean ports and anchorages, as well as in the north and west coast of Africa. It has a length of 34 meters, 8 meters beam, 3 meters draft and a total area of 415 square meters.

Sailing on the sailing boats of the Nao Victoria Foundation is a magnificent human, technical and natural experience. You will take part in the sailing watches and experience the camaraderie of people of different ages, cultures and backgrounds, all as fond of the sea and boats as you are. You will learn navigation techniques, manoeuvring, knots and rigging, as well as getting to recognise the main stars and constellations. And all this in a natural environment as different, indomitable and incredibly beautiful as the sea.

I am one of those who never stop, I do not miss even the smallest detail and Nao Victoria and you have filled me. All my nights different, always ecstatic. Captain, crew a 10, volunteers, I have no scale to name your dedication, your courtesy, your bizarreness. Historically well prepared, I now admire even more those heroes who preceded us.
