Relive how those sailors used to sail, the great feats they did on that ship and experience first-hand the greatest maritime feat. Be part of the crew, using the same sailing techniques, with training in navigation, charts, use of sails, knots, etc. And above all, feel the sensation of navigating a wooden boat, steered by a pintle.
Departing from the port of Honfleur and arriving at the largest maritime festival, L’Armada de Rouen, this crossing lasts 7 hours, corresponding to 50 nautical miles. It will allow you to make an incredible voyage along the French coast until you reach the port of Rouen. Departing from the old seaport of Honfleur, you will finally reach the waters of the coast and visit Rouen. L’Armada de Rouen is a maritime festival that takes place every 5 years in the French city and welcomes the most important ships. Visit its beaches and its eternal dunes. Lose yourself in its charming streets while sailing aboard the Nao Victora.
The Nao Victoria is the replica of the first ship that sailed around the world with Magellan and Elcano, achieving the greatest naval feat of all time. It was built in 1991 and in 2004 it sailed around the world again to commemorate that trip. It has 3 masts and bowsprit, 6 sails with 290m2 of sail area. With capacity for 22 people, it usually has 12 people on board with bunk beds. Wooden boat more familiar and spartan, with the smallest spaces, with incredible stories and adventures.
