Embark on the Galleon and live the experience of sailing in a replica of almost 50 meters long. A real merchant ship of the time in which the spaces are larger and more comfortable. In this voyage you will be part of the crew, using the same techniques of navigation, with training on navigation, charts, use of sails, knots, and navigation guards, etc..

Departing from the port of Motril and arriving at the port of Santa Pola, this short crossing consists of approximately 1 day and a half of navigation corresponding to 200 nautical miles. It will allow you to make an unforgettable voyage along the tropical coast up to the coastal city of the province of Alicante: Santa Pola. Santa Pola has a lot of touristic interests that you will be able to visit. Among them are: its fantastic beaches where you can enjoy an authentic Valencian paella, as well as the castle-fortress of Santa Pola. Also visit the museum of the sea or its municipal aquarium with a great variety of marine life. In addition to only 11 nautical miles away is the island of Tabarca, the great unknown of Spain. Its crystal clear waters and this small island will leave you speechless. An unforgettable experience aboard the Nao Victoria.

El Galeón

The Galeón Andalucía is a replica of the 16th century galleons that linked America, Europe and Asia. Launched in 2010, it has sailed from Spain to China, tours of the USA, Great Lakes, Canada, the Caribbean, Northern Europe, etc. It has 3 masts and bowsprit and 7 sails, 4 of them square and one lateen with a total sail area of 320m2. It can accommodate up to 42 people, usually 20 to 25 people with bunk beds.

Sailing on the sailing boats of the Nao Victoria Foundation is a magnificent human, technical and natural experience. You will learn navigation techniques, manoeuvring, knots and rigging, as well as getting to recognise the main stars and constellations. And all this in a natural environment as different, indomitable and incredibly beautiful as the sea.
