Embark on the Galleon and live the experience of sailing in a replica of almost 50 meters long. All a merchant ship of the time in which the spaces are larger and more comfortable. In this voyage you will be part of the crew, using the same techniques of navigation, with training on navigation, charts, use of sails, knots, and navigation guards, etc..

Departing from the port of Baiona and arriving at the port of Casto Urdiales, this crossing has a duration of 36 hours corresponding to 253 nautical miles. It will allow you to make an unforgettable voyage through the Cantabrian Sea, until you reach the Cantabrian town of Castro Urdiales, where you can visit its famous castle-lighthouse of Santa Ana, a castle overlooking the sea crowned by a lighthouse. Also visit the church of Santa Maria de la Asuncion, a gothic temple from the 18th century. Finally we recommend you to visit the loading dock of Dícido, little known and that will leave you very impressed. A unique experience that will leave you wanting more aboard the Galleon.

El Galeón

The Galeón Andalucía is a replica of the 16th century galleons that linked America, Europe and Asia. Launched in 2010, it has sailed from Spain to China, tours of the USA, Great Lakes, Canada, the Caribbean, Northern Europe, etc. It has 3 masts and bowsprit and 7 sails, 4 of them square and one lateen with a total sail area of 320m2. It can accommodate up to 42 people, usually 20 to 25 people with bunk beds.

Sailing on the sailing boats of the Nao Victoria Foundation is a magnificent human, technical and natural experience. You will learn navigation techniques, manoeuvring, knots and rigging, as well as getting to recognise the main stars and constellations. And all this in a natural environment as different, indomitable and incredibly beautiful as the sea.

I am one of those who never stop, I do not miss even the smallest detail and Nao Victoria and you have filled me. All my nights different, always ecstatic.
