Ayamonte – Gandía

Ship the Galleon and live the experience of sailing in a replica of almost 50 metres in length. A real merchant ship of the period in which the spaces are larger and more comfortable. On this voyage you will be part of the crew, using the same sailing techniques, with training on navigation, charts, use of sails, knots, and navigational watches, etc.

Departing from the port of Ayamonte and arriving at the port of Gandía, this crossing lasts 3 days, corresponding to 490 nautical miles (788 km). It will allow you to make an unforgettable voyage along the entire Andalusian coast: crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to enter the Mediterranean Sea, skirting the famous Costa del Sol to reach the coast of Alicante. On arrival at the port of Gandía you will be able to visit its famous beaches and enjoy its spectacular caves (especially the Parpallo cave). The Galeón Andalucía is a replica of the 16th century galleons that linked America, Europe and Asia. Launched in 2010, it has sailed from Spain to China, tours of the USA, Great Lakes, Canada, the Caribbean, Northern Europe, etc. It has 3 masts and bowsprit and 7 sails, 4 of them square and one lateen with a total sail area of 320m2. It can accommodate up to 42 people, usually 20 to 25 people with bunk beds.

Sailing on the sailing boats of the Nao Victoria Foundation is a magnificent human, technical and natural experience. I am one of those who never stop, I do not miss even the smallest detail and Nao Victoria and you have filled me. All my nights different, always ecstatic.
