EMBARKATION 30/07 AT 17:00
DISEMBARKATION 09/08 AT 09:00

You are welcome to join the seafaring crew as a sailor and help us with all the usual tasks on board, e.g. taking care of the night watches with a crew member and hoisting the sails with energy. We also sail at night. Let yourself be enraptured by a starry sky that no place on land can offer you and see with your own eyes constellations that you otherwise only know from a map.

Cascais is a stone’s throw from the capital Lisbon. From Cais do Sodré station in the centre of Lisbon, a train leaves for many of the coastal towns along the Tagus. Caiscais is the last stop on this route. So you can arrive quite relaxed. After the first night in the lively port town of Cascais, we depart in the morning. And experience an exciting first day of sailing on the high seas. We sail past beautiful beaches, bays and the beautiful backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.

Fluorescent algae offer us art in the water, especially in the Strait of Gibraltar. If we are lucky and the dolphins join us at night, you can marvel at a natural spectacle with sparkling dolphins. Let our professional crew pamper you with culinary delights in wind and good weather, defying all odds in service. Experience sailing and nature in its purest form with us.

The Mediterranean route takes us along the Balearic Islands and, when we have time, we anchor in one of the beautiful bays or visit one of the charming harbours. Between Corsica and Sardinia we sail through the Strait of Bonifacio to Olbia in Sardinia. If we proceed at a good pace and the wind is good, we will certainly have the opportunity to stop for a swim in one of the fantastic bays. Perhaps a visit to Bonifacio is feasible or we will anchor close to Sardinia, in the fantastically beautiful area of “La Maddalena”. The captain receives the current weather reports every day and will use them to plan a wonderful trip. We only know that our “Port of Arrival” will be Olibia.

Possible ports of arrival could be: Alicante, Soller, Mahon, Bonifacio.

On Milestone cruises it’s all about sailing. We have a destination and we know when we want to get there. Therefore, shore excursions and stopovers are only planned if the weather gods are kind to us and fit in terms of time. If the wind blows headwind, the engine is used.

We cannot promise anything except a really good time on board.
