With a good wind and a good sea, sailing is good. The wind will take you on a beautiful sailing trip on the popular Baltic Sea.

The Baltic Sea enchants its visitors with fascinating natural spectacles and romantic sunsets. The destinations to visit during an excursion in the area are varied, so everyone will find something to enchant them. From sandy beaches and cliffs to islands and bays to picturesque harbours, the Baltic Sea has a lot to offer. The small islands of Denmark often show the whole country in its small format: great nature, beautiful beaches and pure relaxation.

Every day, on board this beautiful sailing yacht, a new adventure awaits you. The captain receives the latest wind reports and plans the route accordingly, for a great day’s sailing! After a delicious breakfast, the sails are hoisted and you set course to arrive in the afternoon in one of the beautiful harbours of the Baltic Sea.

Possible ports are: Sønderborg, Svendborg, Marstal (Ærø) Lyø and Faaborg.

Note: Wind and weather can have a big influence on the trip.

You may visit Marstal. Marstal harbour is a short walk from the town’s shopping centre and Eriks Hale, a beautiful sandy beach with photogenic traditional huts in all colours.

In the evening you can have a drink in our cosy lounge or on deck with the other sailors or explore the harbour by night.

In recent years, many guests have sailed with us to explore the Baltic Sea. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the beauty of this area and book a trip on the Baltic Sea.

Vessel

Artemis

The triple-masted Artemis is a fine example of maritime tradition. It was built in Norway in 1926 as a whaler. She later worked as a cargo ship transporting goods between Asia and South America. Since 2001, the Artemis has been sailing in European waters again, honouring the great maritime tradition of the Netherlands.

The masts are square-rigged, typical of a barque. The spectacle of the three masts on the high seas is unsurpassed. On the way to historic ports or to one of the many sailing events.

The Artemis radiates safety and originality while boasting an exceptional level of comfort and luxury on board. It is this combination that makes the ship so unique and desirable for sea voyages and international events. Artemis has a well-equipped hotel galley and a spacious saloon with bar, which exudes a warm maritime atmosphere. Its sailing trips in the Baltic Sea and the southern Danish archipelago are in great demand.

The Artemis can accommodate up to 120 guests on board for day trips and has berths for 32. Our guests can enjoy excellent food and drink served by an experienced and enthusiastic staff. Together with being on an authentic triple masted boat with an experienced deck crew and all the modern sailing equipment necessary to ensure a safe voyage, makes for a wonderful sailing experience!

Welcome to the rich history of traditional sailing, welcome to the Artemis.
